Who we are
Habitat for Humanity of Maine is an Affiliate Support Organization (ASO) working in partnership with the 8 local Habitat offices of dedicated staff and volunteers who direct housing support in Maine. Our purpose is to raise or provide resources and services for the benefit of Habitat Affiliates within Maine to strengthen the Affiliates so they may in turn, be able to build, renovate, and repair decent and affordable housing for Mainers.
We perform this support function by coordinating regional resource development efforts, coordinating regional marketing and awareness efforts, and providing training, technical assistance, and shared services. We do not build, sell or repair homes nor operate a ReStore. If you are looking for Home Ownership or Home Repair Programs contact your Local Affiliate.
